Hope Brewery - Social Media
There is something incredibly special about collaborating with a brand in your own neighborhood—especially when they brew your absolute favorite beer. Hope Beer is an award-winning craft brewery operating right around the corner from me on Dublin’s Northside.
As a massive fan of their Hop-On Session IPA, getting to work with them was a perfect match of local pride and personal passion. For this project, my goal was to ensure their visual presence was as bold, crafted, and premium as the beer itself.

ASK
Hope Beer needed a dynamic suite of social media assets to showcase their diverse lineup and engage their audience across multiple platforms. The brief called for a versatile mix of content they wanted to highlight the authentic, behind-the-scenes craft of their brewing, push quick-hit ads for their core beer range, and create a distinct lifestyle vibe for their non-alcoholic offering.
Approach
To capture the true personality of the brewery and keep their social feeds feeling fresh, I developed a multi-tiered content strategy that utilized a mix of video production, motion design, and 3D rendering.
I broke the campaign down into three core visual pillars:
The Craft (Process Video): I created a dynamic, behind-the-scenes process video that celebrates the hands-on art of brewing right here in Howth Junction. This piece was all about authenticity, giving fans a glimpse into the hard work that goes into every tank.
The Lineup (Bite-Sized Ads): For their main roster of beers, I produced a series of quick, punchy social ads. These were designed for short attention spans—fast-paced, highly visual, and tailored to match the distinct flavor profile and branding of each specific beer.
The Lifestyle (3D Rendering): To market their non-alcoholic beer, I wanted to sell a specific feeling: crisp, refreshing, and entirely guilt-free. I built and lit high-quality 3D renders of the NA can sitting on a sun-drenched beach. By moving into 3D space, I was able to create the perfect, idyllic summer environment without ever needing to wait for the Irish weather to cooperate.
DESIGN
Craft beer is an incredibly visual industry, and Hope Beer already features fantastic, colorful can art. A massive part of this project was taking those static label designs and bringing them to life through 2D animation for their bite-sized social ads. Because these were built specifically for mobile feeds, everything was framed and optimized for a 9:16 vertical layout to maximize screen real estate and immediately grab attention.
For the behind-the-scenes process video, rather than using traditional live-action footage, I utilized a clean, flat vector illustration style. This allowed me to break down the brewing journey in a way that felt playful, engaging, and perfectly aligned with the brand's vibrant, graphic identity.
To elevate the product shots, I also blended 2D and 3D techniques. For several of the core beers, I created high-quality 3D renders of the cans and mapped the animated 2D labels directly onto them, giving the artwork a dynamic, wrap-around effect. Finally, for their non-alcoholic offering, I built and lit a 3D beach scene. By controlling the environmental lighting and dialing in the condensation on the cold can, I was able to craft a crisp, thirst-quenching summer escape entirely from scratch.
